Renting a boat in Kolymbia: what to ask
Boat rentals in Kolymbia are handled by a small group of local operators, most of them working from the beach or the marina. Mako Boat Rhodes, founded in 2025 by Mario Salaj, runs private speed boat and RIB trips with captains available, and its Enjoy RIB is offered for outings such as romantic getaways, family days and weddings. Antonis Watersports - Rent a Boat Rhodes works from Kolymbia beach and keeps daily hours of 10:00 to 18:00; its listing notes step-free access at the entrance, accessible parking and seating, and that it is recommended for LGBTQ+ customers. KIVOTOS Cruise, based at Kolympia Marina, charters its boat for private outings and events including weddings and birthday parties, and operates daily with longer hours Monday to Saturday and shorter hours on Sunday.
Aegean Boats - Rent a Boat, Kolymbia arranges rentals directly with customers as a service-area business rather than from a fixed address, and its listing notes parking with wheelchair access; it is open 9:00 am to 6:00 pm every day. Between them these operators cover skippered arrangements, motorboats and RIBs, and private celebrations. Details such as licence requirements, per-person pricing and honeymoon packages are not stated in the listings, so confirm them with the operator before booking.
