Boat rentals in Central Macedonia

Renting a boat in Central Macedonia: what to ask

Boat rentals in Central Macedonia start from two main bases: the marinas and waterfronts of Thessaloniki, and the Halkidiki coast around Vourvourou, Ormos Panagias and Neos Marmaras. The choice is broad, from self-drive motorboats to skippered sailing yachts and catamarans.

In Vourvourou, Get Wet Boat Rental Vourvourou runs motorboats from 30HP to 200HP and states that its boats can be used without a licence, with Diaporos Island and the Blue Lagoon among the destinations. Dream Swim Boat Rental, also in Vourvourou, offers motorboats for a day or half-day and states that no licence is needed; its team gives instructions and on-site assistance. In Ormos Panagias, Luxury Sport Cruise arranges private cruises, self-drive boats and skippered yachts, with routes to the Blue Lagoon, Diaporos and Sithonia. Flying Sailship, based at the harbour of Neos Marmaras, runs skippered day sailing excursions and sailing holidays in Halkidiki and the Sporades, and can charter the whole boat for a private cruise for groups of up to 9 people. Diamond Yachting in Thessaloniki rents sailing boats, catamarans, super yachts, motor boats and RIBs, with or without a captain. Ask each operator directly about availability, prices and what is included.
