Boat rentals in Faros, South Aegean

Renting a boat in Faros, South Aegean: what to ask

For boat rentals in Faros, the harbour on Sifnos draws a small group of operators who work from the port and the bay. Sifnos Private Cruises - Calypso Boat Rental - Sifnos Boat Rentals runs private RIB cruises and rents boats with or without a skipper, and also lists sunset cruises. Vento Cruises Sifnos, based at Fasolous in Faros, offers boat rentals and boat tours, with fleet and route details left for customers to ask about. A La Mer - Sifnos Boat Rentals | Faros bay is a service-area boat rental business open daily from 9:00 to 21:00, serving customers around Faros and the island.

Because the operators differ in what they provide, it helps to confirm the essentials before booking: whether a boat comes with a skipper or is self-drive, whether a licence is required for the boat you want, and what the price includes. If you are planning a party or a honeymoon trip, say so when you enquire so the operator can match the boat to the occasion. For RIB trips, ask about seating and shelter. Prices are generally given on request, so ask each business directly for a quote.
