Renting a boat in Benitses: what to ask

Boat rentals in Benitses are concentrated at the marina, where three operators are based and each offers something different. Athenian Yachts - Corfu Charter Base is on Pier B of the marina and runs skippered and crewed charters alongside bareboat options. Geneseas Yacht Expert works from the same marina as a boat tour agency and boat rental service, and also acts as a cruise agency and yacht broker; it lists opening hours every day of the week. ORCA Yachting Chartering is a boat rental service at the marina too, open daily from 9am to 9pm, listed under boat rental and yacht club categories.

What each operator actually has on the water, and on what terms, is not published in these listings. That makes a direct call the sensible first step: ask about skippered versus self-drive arrangements, whether a boat can be taken without a licence, and whether a RIB or a larger crewed yacht is available for your dates. Prices are best requested from the operator, along with what a honeymoon trip or a party booking would involve. The three businesses are close together, so comparing them in person at the marina is straightforward.
