The Archaeological Museum of Messinia is an archaeological museum and tourist attraction housed in the reconstructed building of the old Municipal Market of Kalamata. Its permanent exhibition is organised into large geographical sections — Kalamata, Messini, Trifylia and Pylos — and presents, through representative finds, the cultural course of the areas that make up present-day Messinia, from the 5th millennium BC to 1453.
