The Museum of Contemporary Art of Crete is a contemporary art museum in Rethymno, housed in a Venetian building. Its collection includes works by Lefteris Kanakakis and other Greek artists. The museum organises periodic exhibitions at local, national and international level in co-operation with institutions in Greece and abroad, alongside parallel events such as lectures, training programmes, speeches and seminars. Guided tours for children, young people and adults are held daily for the duration of each exhibition, and catalogues and printed material are published.
