The Museum of Ancient and Traditional Shipbuilding is a maritime museum housed at Neorio Moro in the Venetian Harbour of Chania. Its exhibits cover the ancient and Byzantine periods, the Venetian occupation, the Balkan Wars and the union of Crete with Greece, the 19th-century independence struggles, the Second World War and the post-war period, the merchant navy, marine environment, lighthouse materials and philately. Sections include Reception and Symbols, Country Shrine, Dummy Bridge and Destroyer.
