About this venue
IONES is a cultural association and cultural organisation based in Nea Ionia. Since 2023 it has been housed in a newly built building in the historic centre of Nea Ionia, Magnesia. Its statutory aim is to create communication links and cultural exchanges with Asia Minor populations. It maintains archives, heirlooms, exhibition spaces, event spaces and seminar spaces with modern technological means, and organises the annual institutions "Mikrasiatika" and "Mnimi Vyzantiou".
