About this venue
The Greek Alzheimer's Association and Related Disorders is a non-profit association founded on 29/10/1995. Its aims include creating structures, services and conditions that improve the quality of life of patients with dementia and their carers. Since 2007 and 2009 respectively, it has operated two units for Alzheimer's disease in Thessaloniki, funded by YYKA, offering pioneering non-pharmacological programmes. The units include a Day Centre, a carers' department and a home-care team, providing free services such as full neuropsychological assessment, medical history taking, diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic care.
